ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY FOR MWANGAZA WOMEN GROUP

Mwangaza women right organization has been helping fight for the women rights and assisting girls faced with various challenges in Embu County. This has been successful due to financial assistance from non-governmental organizations like ActionAid. Some of issues that Mwangaza deals with such as fighting GBV and access to justice need finances. In order to sustain themselves financially and manage their programs with minimal help from NGOs, Mwangaza has started looking for projects to ensure sustainability in the case of absence of funding.
The group invited Savannah bee keepers to teach them on how to establish and manage bee keeping. Now MWRO has something to smile about after they were trained and promised assistance in starting a bee keeping project by Savannah bee keepers.
