COMMUNITY SENSITIZATION ON GBV AND FGM

Gender Based Violence and Female Genital Mutilation has made a recommendable progress especially in Eastern parts of Kenya but the war is far from over and lowering the guard would be the worst mistake which can be done at this time.
It is due to this reason that MWRO Women group still organises meetings to sensitize girls and women to educate them and remind them that the war is still on until GBV and FGM is eradicated from our communities.
A meeting was organized by MWRO officials which brought together Community Resource Persons (CRPs) and Community Health Volunteers (CHPs) to educate them on how to handle the victims of GBV and FGM.
